Leviticus 16:33–34

33 then he shall make 1atonement for 2the Holy Sanctuary, and he shall make atonement for the tabernacle of meeting and for the altar, and he shall make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the assembly. 34 lThis shall be an everlasting statute for you, to make atonement for the children of Israel, for all their sins, monce a year.” And he did as the Lord commanded Moses.

Leviticus 16:33–34 — The New International Version (NIV)

33 and make atonement for the Most Holy Place, for the tent of meeting and the altar, and for the priests and all the members of the community.

34 “This is to be a lasting ordinance for you: Atonement is to be made once a year for all the sins of the Israelites.”

And it was done, as the Lord commanded Moses.

Moses followed all these instructions exactly as the Lord had commanded him.
